My goodness, Charles! That appraisal document is absolutely amazing! I'm completely gobsmacked! I have to be honest with you. I had more than just a little bit of seller's remorse when I saw the last of the collection being driven away in the library staff's vehicles. But, upon seeing your file, I feel like we still "possess" Dad's collection in a way. Thank you so much for that, and for your detailed, professional report! The fair market value, while obviously important, isn't nearly as valuable to us as getting the collection appraised correctly and donating it to someone who would value it as Dad did. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for playing such an important, invaluable part in that process! And for making a bittersweet process so enjoyable for me and, most importantly, for Mom! Anyway, Mom again expressed her enjoyment of working with you and getting to know you. I echo her remarks! – M.B.
